Private show filmed from the balcony so not much obstruction at all. This is a very small club which band members are no more than a few feet apart. The lighting is pretty poor at times so it's fairly dark but the person filming does get in close although sometimes out of vision, the sound (a little low) being pretty good and listen-able. This is a fairly early recording and worth having for a fan of early REM. Probably a 2nd or 3rd generation.

The lighting on the Fables tour of the UK was limited to say the least. The band were in permanent shadow with occasional atmospheric lighting. So given the limitations of the caneras in those days, this is a pretty good representation. Still its hard to make out much a lot of time.
