In 1986, original negatives obtained in 1970 and 1972 during the filming of "Elvis that's the way it is" and "Elvis on Tour" were found in the back of the Hollywood MGM.
In 1992 and 1997, material titled "Elvis-the lost performances" was released on VHS and LaserDisc. On DVD, the material was released only in an unofficial ("bootleg") version.

Until 2000, all things from "Elvis-the lost performances" were in a single and unique version.
In 2001, material from found negatives was used for Elvis that's the way it is-Special Edition, and many songs (In the Ghetto, Wonder of You, Just Pretend..) were re-released in original aspect ratio and better quality.
However, nothing else is on official Video releases - these cannot be found elsewhere - Walk a Mile in my shoes, There goes my everything, Make the world go away, 20 days and 20 nights and all material recorded in April 1972. |
