This footage was shot by a local TV station in Portland & was then edited down for a two minute story on the concert that was used on that night's newscast. The quality of the footage is Great as the cameraman was able to get next to the stage. At the same time, he was also getting crowd shots during the concert. Please keep in mind that this IS NOT the full concert, but many highlights. I've listed which complete songs are seen. By "clips", it's still a good portion of the song, just not the full thing.
The video starts with Davy, Mickey & Peter entering the stadium on golf carts to The Monkees theme. When the song starts skipping, they take a piece of dynamite & blow up the record player as the concert begins with.........

At the beginning of this tape is about five minutes of The Grassroots performing. The Grassroots performed right before The Monkees on this concert. You'll see clips of them performing "Sooner Or Later", "Temptation Eyes", & "Midnight Confessions." |
